Simple Blessings is provided by Simplyweight Ltd, our family business, registered in England and Wales, company number 07094224, registered office Pure Offices, 2 Turnberry Park Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS27 7LE, United Kingdom. Our healing work is at simplyweight.com.

1. What this is

Simple Blessings is a free offering. It lets you send one short, pre-written blessing by email to someone you are thinking of. We make no charge, we ask nothing of you, and we sell nothing here. There is no account, no membership and no ongoing service — you use it when you wish, and nothing continues afterwards.

2. What this is not

This site is not a messaging service, a social network, or a way to hold a conversation. It is not counselling, therapy, or medical, psychological or health advice of any kind, and nothing sent through it should be understood as such. If you or someone you care about needs support, please speak to a qualified professional.

3. Using it kindly

This site exists for one purpose: to let good thoughts reach people who would otherwise never hear them. By using it you confirm that:

  • you are 18 or over;
  • you personally know the recipient, or have a genuine and honest reason to believe your blessing would be welcome;
  • you are sending it in good faith and with goodwill;
  • you are not using it to contact anyone who has asked you to leave them alone, or who you have been ordered by a court or other authority not to contact;
  • you are not using it to harass, alarm, distress, intimidate, deceive or upset anyone, and not to conceal your identity for any of those purposes;
  • you are not sending in bulk, by automated means, or to addresses you have collected, purchased or guessed.

4. Your responsibility for what you send

You alone choose the recipient and the message. You are responsible for your use of this site and for any consequences of it. Simplyweight Ltd does not review, approve, monitor or endorse individual messages, and does not know who you are sending to or why.

5. Our responsibility, and its limits

We provide this site free of charge, as it is, and as it happens to be available. We do not promise it will always work, always deliver, or be free of errors or interruption. Delivery depends on email systems we do not control.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Simplyweight Ltd, its directors, officers, employees and family members are not liable for:

  • any misuse of this site by any person, including harassment, deception, impersonation or unwanted contact;
  • any distress, offence, misunderstanding or harm arising from a message someone chooses to send, or from the fact that a message was sent anonymously;
  • any message that fails to arrive, arrives late, or arrives more than once;
  • any indirect or consequential loss of any kind.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

6. If you have received a message you did not want

Every message carries a link that stops all future messages to your address immediately and permanently, without you needing to contact anyone. If you are receiving contact that worries or frightens you, and you feel unsafe, please speak to the police.

7. Stopping and changing the service

Because this is a free offering rather than a service you have bought, we may change it, pause it, or withdraw it at any time without notice. We may also decline to send any particular message, or block any address, at our discretion and without giving reasons.

8. Your privacy

Set out separately in our Privacy Notice. In short: we do not store the messages, and we do not keep a record of who sent what to whom.

9. Content and ownership

The blessings, artwork, name and design of Simple Blessings belong to Simplyweight Ltd. Please do not copy or reuse them elsewhere.

10. Using it as intended

You must not attempt to work around how this site is built. In particular, you must not automate or script its use, send by any means other than the site itself as intended, attempt to reach an address that has asked to stop receiving messages, or interfere with, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the site or the systems behind it.

11. Available worldwide

Simple Blessings may be used from anywhere, but it is operated from the United Kingdom. We make no promise that it is appropriate or lawful in every country. If you use it, you do so on your own responsibility and must comply with the laws that apply where you are. Please do not use it where such a service is restricted.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
